Ark Ascended Primal Tales Game Server Rules

1. Don't Be a Billy

No Spamming or Griefing: Billy craves attention and causes trouble. Don't be like Billy. Keep the game fun for everyone.

Avatars, paintings, nicknames, tribe names, tame and player names should be appropriate. 

Wordplay and tongue-in-cheek references are fun to a degree, but don't go to far, If a mod asks you to change it, please do so, or they will. 

No Excessive Harassment: Excessively ruining someone's fun just because you can or escalating trash-talk to malicious or toxic behaviors is frowned upon,  The Chaos Wardens may have something to say about that, they will see you soon!

We log all reported offenses, if we have to remind players of the rules too many times, well......
That's a one-way ticket to Ban Land. Play nice or find another sandbox.

Treat all players with respect. No harassment, or discrimination will be tolerated. We’re here to have fun, not to bring others down.

Dark humor is welcome, but know your audience. Avoid overly offensive or inappropriate content that could make others uncomfortable.

2. Fight Fair, You Cowards

No Cheating: No spawn killing, exploiting glitches, or using hacks. If you need to cheat to win, maybe gaming isn't your thing.

No Base Camping: Harassing players at their bases is low—even for a Billy. Give others space to breathe. If you camp make it only long enough for reconnaissance.

PvP Discouraged Zones: Players can chill in designated safe zones. If someone decides to play dirty there, they might find a bounty on their head.

3. Mind Your Timing

Event Etiquette: No raiding during server events. Let's keep the chaos organized. You can wait a few minutes, trust me.

4. Respect Your Fellow Survivors

Chat Etiquette: Keep global chat free of drama and spam. Keep the chat relevant. Spamming messages, posting outside links, or advertisements are not allowed. This isn't "Ark Idol" where everyone's listening to your solo act.

If you need a place to talk random things with others, we have a Discord channel for that, 

Be a Decent Human: No racism, homophobia, sexism, or any other toxic nonsense. We're here to have fun, not to babysit grown-ups.

5. Tribe Rules

Tribe Size Matters: Maximum of 8 members per tribe. No mega-tribes steamrolling the server.

Think Before You Hop: Tribe hopping is discouraged. If you're switching tribes more often than a Compy changes direction, people might get suspicious. Commit or go solo.

Alliances are Strategic: You can ally with one other tribe. Keep it strategic and focused—we're building empires here, not starring in a soap opera.

Base Limits:
One Large Primary Base per map, and please keep Small Outpost Bases Per Biome to only what you need and will use.
Share the Ark! Don't hog all the prime spots—leave some for the rest of us.

6. Solo Players Unite

Team Up for Fun: Thinking about joining forces? Team up with other solos for events, and if it feels right, submit a tribe application. We'll even give you your own tribe channel on our Discord.

Looking a more peaceful RP experience: Let us know more of the details in the Player Questionnaire and maybe we can find a role for you to fill in the Primal Tales

7. Building and Resources

No Structure Spamming: Spamming structures to cause lag or block others is a Billy move. Don't be a Billy.

Floating Bases (Player Edition): Keep your structures grounded. Floating bases are a no-go for players. Admin buildings might defy gravity, but hey, someone has to oversee the chaos! (Rule does not apply to Ocean builds, Restriction applies only to builds floating in the sky.)

Resource Control: Feel free to dominate resources. Power dynamics add a little spice to the game. Control the market, Trade with other tribes, help shape the global economy.

8. Events and Competitions

Play Fair: No cheating during events. Win with skill or stupid luck, not shortcuts.

Don't Be a Party Pooper: Raiding an event or other attempts at Disrupting events will get the Chaos Wardens on you faster than a Velociraptor on a sugar rush. These are meant to be moments where the community comes together to have a bit of light-hearted fun. if you don't want to participate that is fine, but don't ruin the enjoyment for the rest of the server. 

Follow Event Rules: Each event has its own rules. Know them, follow them, enjoy the fun.

Be Punctual: Late to the party? That's on you. Be on time to join the action.

9. Online Web Shop Rules

After linking your account via the !getconnectcode method be sure to check out our web-shop at litterboxbandits.com often for rotating mix of free and token-based items. Treat yourself—you've earned it. Probably.

Fair Purchases: Shop items enhance gameplay—they don't make you invincible.(At least not for long.) We aim to keep the game balanced. And remember everything you buy outside of VIP access can probably be killed, destroyed or lost, if you cant afford to lose it, don't buy it or wait until you can buy it with earned tokens rather than purchasing tokens.

No Pay-to-Win Whining: Tokens can be earned in-game or purchased. Don't complain if others hustle harder, or are willing to spend their Oreo money on Tokens.

Support the Server: Purchases help keep the server running. We really do appreciate your support!

Please remember to Shop Responsibly: It's easy to get carried away, and these items last only as long as you can keep them, or as long as the servers can afford to stay running. Keep your purchases fun and within your means.

Primal Tales Community Engagement ( Rules for the website and Discord )

**1. Link Up or Miss Out

Link Your Player Account to Our Website:  To be able to receive items from the web store you must link your Character via the !getconnectcode method to our community at litterboxbandits.com.

This helps our our system and our admins to link your in-game character with our shop and player statistics system as well as issuing player rewards.

This does not automatically join you to our Discord server.

2. Join Our Discord (Optional but Awesome)

Community Hangout: While not required, joining the Primal Tales Discord is highly recommended. It's a quick way to connect with others, stay updated on the latest events (especially if browsing the website isn't your cup of tea), and just hang out.

Private Tribe Channels: Each tribe that submits a registration on our website and has linked their accounts receives their own private category on the Primal Tales Discord. Think of it as your secret lair—minus the lava pit.

Stay in the Loop: Get real-time updates, share your adventures, and maybe even find out what players have discovered. Your feedback helps us make the Primal Tales better for everyone.

3. Be a Decent Human (Again don't be a Billy)

No Toxic Behavior: Racism, sexism, homophobia, and other toxic nonsense won't be tolerated, whether in-game or on Discord. Keep it classy.

Support Each Other: Help out newbies. We were all fresh spawns once—even you, tough guy.

4. Channel Etiquette

Post Appropriately: Use the right channels for the right topics. If you're unsure, just ask. If we don't have it, we might make it. We don't bite—much.

Quick Connections: Our Discord is linked on our website for easy access. It's the fastest way to connect with fellow survivors and stay up to date.

5. Voice Chat Manners

Mic Check, One Two: Don't hog the mic. Let others speak. Unless your dino impression is Oscar-worthy.

On Linking Discord to the Website: This is required to receive in-game items and rewards. It helps us help you. Remember, linking your Discord to litterboxbandits.com doesn't automatically join you to our Primal Tales Discord server—they're separate.

For the last time! Don't Be a Billy: Whether in-game or on Discord, Billy behavior isn't welcome. Keep things fun, fair, and friendly. You can cut up and trash-talk, but don't take it from good-fun to malicious behavior.
